Disclaimer of Unauthorised Phone Number

The attention of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor has been drawn to the circulation of the phone number +234 802 147 8073 on WhatsApp and other platforms in association with the name of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ayodeji Olayinka Johnson Agboola.
This is to notify the university community and the general public that the said number does not belong to the Vice-Chancellor. The Vice-Chancellor hereby dissociates himself entirely from any message, call, financial transaction, or activity carried out through that number.
Members of the public are accordingly advised to:
- Disregard any information or request originating from the above number;
- Refrain from engaging in any form of transaction with the impersonator; and
- Report any suspicious activity to university security or the appropriate law-enforcement authorities.
The public is further urged to verify the authenticity of any communication purportedly from the Office of the Vice-Chancellor through official university channels only.
