Entry Requirements

You can gain admission into the B.Sc. Estate Management programme through either the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) route. Both pathways are designed for students with strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills who wish to build careers in property, valuation, and real estate management.

1. UTME Entry (Five-Year Programme)

To qualify through UTME, you must have:

  1. Five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings in the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent.
  2. The required subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two from Physics, Chemistry, Geography, or Technical Drawing.
  3. A satisfactory score in the UTME, with the subject combination: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and one of Geography, Physics, or Chemistry.
  4. A successful result in the university’s Post-UTME screening exercise.

If admitted through UTME, you will complete the programme in a minimum of five academic sessions.

2. Direct Entry (Four-Year Programme)

  1. You can also be admitted directly into the 200 level if you:
  2. Meet the O-Level requirements stated above, and
  3. Hold A-Level passes in Economics, Mathematics, and one other subject such as Geography or Physics.
  4. Possess a National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Estate Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Building, or Surveying with at least an Upper Credit.

Direct Entry students complete the programme in four academic sessions.
