Dr Adeolu Odutayo Dina is an academic staff member in the Department of Transport Management, Faculty of Administration and Management Sciences, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. He specialises in Railway Transport Management, Security, and Military Logistics. He holds a Ph.D. in Transport Studies from Olabisi Onabanjo University, where he has been teaching and conducting research for over eighteen years.
His scholarly interests focus on railway transport management where he has published extensively in reputable local and international journals. He has in recent time extended his scholarly interest to include security and defence logistics to lend academic voice to resolving the security challenges confronting Nigeria. He has contributed several book chapters on transport and railway development in Nigeria, reflecting his commitment to advancing knowledge and practice in that field.
Beyond academia, Dr Dina has offered professional expertise to several national transport projects commissioned by agencies such as the Nigerian Shippers’ Council and the Nigerian Railway Corporation. His consultancy work includes feasibility studies on Truck Transit Parks and serving as lead researcher and scriptwriter for Return of the Railways, a landmark television documentary series on Nigeria’s railway modernisation plan by NRC.

At Olabisi Onabanjo University, he has served in various capacities, including Coordinator of Postgraduate and Part-Time Programmes and member of the Faculty Research Committee. He is a member of the World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR) Society, Belgium, and an active participant in international conferences on transport innovation. He currently serves as Head of Department, Transport Management at Olabisi Onabanjo university.
