Entry Requirements

To study Accounting at Olabisi Onabanjo University, you must meet the following admission requirements:

1. UTME Entry (Four-Year Programme):

  1. You must have five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two relevant subjects such as Accounting, Commerce, Government, or Geography, obtained at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or an equivalent examination.
  2. You must sit for the UTME with the correct subject combination, usually English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and one other relevant subject.
  3. You must pass the Post-UTME screening conducted by the University.

2. Direct Entry (Three-Year Programme):

  1. You may be admitted into 200 level if you have passes at the GCE A-Level or its equivalent in at least two subjects including Economics, Accounting, or Business Management.
  2. Holders of National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or recognised professional qualifications (e.g. ICAN ATS) may also be considered, provided they meet the O’Level requirements.
